Oviedo Republican finds Feeney's excuses shameful

I am a registered Republican who votes Republican in part because of the party's position on personal responsibility. It is for it. So Congressman Tom Feeney, who I believe more than once has spouted off about personal responsibility, gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and what is the first thing he does? He blames everyone but himself for not understanding who was picking up the tab for his golfing junket to Scotland.

But what really bothers me is that Feeney and his ilk see nothing wrong with allowing a lobbyist (call it an educational or policy group, if you must) to pay more than $5,000 for a golfing trip to Scotland. Their only concern is a) that it didn't come out of their own pocket and b) that it was paid for by an approved lobbyist. Shame on you, Mr. Feeney!
