Seminole County Watch believes, as did our Founding Fathers, that an informed and involved electorate is essential to the success of any democracy, especially local government at local levels.

The background of contributing members to Seminole County Watch is comprised of experience and training in political science, history, education and other related areas, and experience as those entities relate to governmental affairs. Seminole County Watch members also possess experience in journalism and communication.

The combination of these factors and an awareness of the need for vigilance towards the operations of local government has led to the founding of Seminole County Watch as an independent, non-partisan organization with the intent and aim of keeping a proper focus on the operations and affairs of local government and the persons whose actions and decisions determine such operation.

Our goal is to provide the average voter in Seminole County with a quick and ready reference to their elected officials and candidates seeking to become elected officials, so that choices on Election Day can be based on consideration of proper and relevant information, rather than being devoid of such.
