Seminole County Commissioner Bob Dallari had a couple of rough days last week over reports that he inappropriately called himself an engineer during his election campaign.

Dallari, a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, confirmed he signed a cease-and-desist order from the state's Board of Professional Engineers last year. That order keeps Dallari from calling himself an engineer unless he takes and passes the state's engineering certification exam.

Dallari stresses that all his work in Florida has been done under the supervision of a certified engineer. - based on report from the Orlando Sentinel, Feb. 6, 2005
